2013 Season Edit
In the League's Inaugural year, expectations were set fairly high around the league after drafting a dominating team on paper. These expectations were met by initial disappointment as 1.21 JJ Watts started the season with an 0-2 record, including a humiliatingly lopsided defeat by Matt Hursh in week 1. With the pressure mounting, Frank was able to get the team back to .500 by week 4. Although the team was on a winning streak of 4 by week 6, one of the areas on concern was the Quarterback position. Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan was hampered by injuries to his offensive targets and was not consistently putting up the numbers he was drafted to as the Falcons would go on to have an abysmal season. Backup QB Andy Dalton also appeared to have cooled off at this point in the season and was yielding nearly identical numbers, making it clear that an acquisition had to be made. After Week 6, 1.21 JJ Watts signed Free Agents QB Nick Foles and TE Riley Cooper. It wouldn't be until Week 10 that Foles would get his first fantasy start following is 7 TD performance vs. the Oakland Raiders. Aside from his Week 12 bye, Foles would go on to start the remaining 6 games leading the team to a League record 12 straight regular season wins as they went on to clinch their first Division Title and a playoff position.
2013 Playoffs Edit
With a record of 12-2, 1.21 JJ Watts had clinched their Division and the number one overall seed in the postseason. The semi-final matchup proved to be a one sided affair as Frank destroyed the fourth seed team by over 50 points and clinching a Finals Appearance. There he would face off against Kyle who had pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season by beating Hursh behind a 5 TD Jamal Charles performance. The finals proved to be much closer than projected as WRs Calvin Johnson and Jacoby Jones produced a disappointing combined 9 points for Frank. By the end of the Sunday Day games, Frank trailed by 53 points with three players remaining to Kyle's none. Behind Finals MVP LeSean McCoy (33 Points) and Nick Foles (22 Points), 1.21 JJ Watts was able to erase the deficit and capture the Leagues Inaugural Finals as Stanley Keg Champions by a score of 88.30 - 86.52.
